Overview
Faster is an intermittent fasting app made by Danylo Hodlevskyi, operating as HodlApps (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have.
By using Faster you agree to this policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Data you enter
To work, Faster stores the information you add: fasting sessions and plans, water intake, height, weight, goal weight, body measurements, your answers to onboarding questions and, if you choose to share it, your biological sex.
This data is stored on your device. We do not have access to it and do not upload it to our own servers.
Apple Health
With your permission, Faster can read and write data such as weight and water to Apple Health. You can change this anytime in the Health app. Health data is never used for advertising and is never shared with third parties.
Purchases
Faster Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your card or billing details.
We receive anonymous information about your subscription status through RevenueCat so the app can unlock Pro features.
Analytics and crash reports
To fix bugs and improve the app, we may collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports through PostHog. These do not include your name, email or the health-related data you enter.
If you have turned off “Share with App Developers” in iOS settings, Apple will not send us crash reports.
Feedback and support
If you contact us or send feedback, we receive your message and, if you provide it, your email address. We use them only to reply and to improve Faster, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Feedback form. When you send feedback through our website, your message, the topic and mood you picked, and your email address (if you give one) are sent to us as an email through our email delivery provider, Resend, Inc. Our website is served through Cloudflare. To prevent abuse, our server briefly uses your IP address to limit how many messages can be sent. It is kept only in memory, never written to disk or included in the email, and is discarded within about a day. We don’t add your browser details or the page address to your message.
Children
Faster is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Fasting is not recommended for minors.
Your choices and rights
You can delete all app data at any time by deleting Faster from your device.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, such as feedback emails. Write to us and we’ll help.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
